Hi! I am Henriette Mai Huong Abitz, a designer, a craftswoman and an enabler. Through my work I pursue bringing people together to build on each other, to make (things) and to move forward. I design tangible products and create experiences that are an invitation for interaction, for reflection and to embrace the variety of opportunities of life. By approaching projects holistically and developing profound concepts, I use and explore the role of design for positive change and transformation.
What feels bold to say about myself? I look asian, but I’m very german. I look small, but I am a strong (metalworker). Sometimes I’m hip and other times a hippie. I like sprouts, the full moon and to be snarky. What I dislike is disrespect, raised fear and wasted resources.
